FAQ
An elopement with me is intentional, intimate, and deeply personal — and I approach it as if I’m speaking directly to you. It’s not about running away — it’s about choosing a day that feels like home to you. Whether that means exchanging vows on a mountaintop, beside a quiet lake, or somewhere meaningful to your story, I help you create an experience that feels calm, grounded, and true.
I’m based in the Canadian Rockies and specialize in Banff, Canmore, Kananaskis, Yoho, Jasper, and surrounding areas — but I also work with couples worldwide. I am a big traveller and I have lived all over Canada (Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary) and all over the world – I am originally from France and I also lived in New Zealand. If you’re dreaming of a place that feels like you, I’m happy to help make it happen.
I help with both. Beyond photography, I guide you through location ideas, timelines, permits, vendor recommendations, and logistics — so you don’t have to figure it out alone. Think of me as your photographer, planner, and calm presence all in one.
Weather is part of the adventure — but flexibility is key. I always build backup plans and alternative locations into your timeline so you can relax knowing we’re prepared, no matter what the skies decide to do.
Start by filling out the inquiry form on the website. From there, we’ll schedule a complimentary consult call to connect, answer questions, and make sure we’re the right fit. A signed contract and retainer (10%) officially secure your date.
This isn’t about trends or ticking boxes. It’s about creating a day that feels safe, meaningful, and deeply yours. I care just as much about how your elopement feels as how it looks — and that intention shapes everything I do.
More than okay. My approach is calm, gentle, and movement-based — no stiff posing, no pressure. I’ll guide you in a way that feels natural so you can focus on each other, not the camera.
Absolutely. Most couples don’t. During our consult call, we’ll talk through your vision, priorities, and what feels right, and I’ll help you narrow down locations and experiences that align with your story.
Elopements are typically just the two of you, or a small group of your closest people. Guest counts depend on location rules and permits, which I’ll help you navigate. It is usually no more than 20 people. If having loved ones present matters to you, we’ll find a way to make it feel intentional and unhurried.
YES, YES and YES! — when the location allows it. I’m very dog-friendly (I myself own a very cute pup) and happy to suggest beautiful, pet-appropriate locations and logistics so your pup can be part of the day safely and comfortably.
Every package (half day and more) includes photography, planning guidance, location support, and a custom timeline built around your day — not a template. Some packages also include multi-day experiences, hiking support, or additional coverage depending on what you choose.
Ideally, 6–12 months in advance, especially for peak seasons. That said, I also take last-minute elopements when availability allows — it never hurts to ask.
Often, yes — especially in national parks if you want to elope legally (with signing the papers). Don’t worry: I’ll walk you through what’s required and help ensure everything is done properly and stress-free.
