Trust your photographer when they recommend you the best time! Even if it is super early or late. They will get up for you (or at least I will!).

Nothing beats the views and the quiet you have up there when no one else is around.

And you don’t have to be a fast hiker!! I am not ahah. Take your time and make it to the top, no one is ever gonna tell you that you are late on your elopement day (in opposite to on a big wedding day…)!

Big Beehive Sunrise Elopement Timeline ☁️✨

Night before — Northern lights dancing across the sky like a little sign from the universe 7:00am — Starting the hike as the mountains slowly woke up around us Sunrise — Watching the first light hit the lake from the shoreline Morning — Climbing up to Big Beehive together Later — Getting ready and sharing vows at the top above the clouds Afternoon — Hiking back down as newlyweds, taking it all in 3:00pm — Back at the car, tired feet, full hearts, and the best memories 🤍

The night before this Big Beehive elopement, the northern lights showed up like magic. By 7am, we were hiking through the quiet mountain air together, reaching the lakeshore just in time for sunrise. Watching the first light spill across the water before climbing higher into the mountains felt unreal. At the top, they got ready, shared their vows above the clouds, and soaked in every quiet moment together. We stopped at Lake Agnes Tea House on the way down for a well-earned tea break, and by 3pm we were back at the car with tired legs, full hearts, and a day none of us will ever forget 🤍
