New Zealand Elopement Photographer

Hi! I’m Dorine.

I am located in Alberta, Canada but I am originally from France.

I travelled to 30+ countries and lived in 3 of them. I developed my passion for photography (and hiking) in New Zealand while exploring for a full year and I made it my full time job in Banff, Canada where I currently reside.

I never fit in any boxes and when I crossed path with elopements, I knew it was my calling.

Two years ago, I quit my engineering jobs to help couples like you express their love in their own way.

I am committed on making your dream wedding come true and capturing every feeling of it.

New Zealand Elopements

Starting at 6200$CAD

Did you know I lived in New Zealand for a year?

I move to Wellington in 2015 to see how it was to live in an Island. New Zealand is where I first picked up my camera and thought I might actually be a photographer someday.

I fell in love with hiking and taking photographs of landscapes over there. This is definitely where my passion for outdoor elopements comes from!

When I left, I said I would be back before 10 years. Guess what?? I went back on the 10th year last year.

I really want to capture an elopement there someday. I visited ALL of New Zealand. When I say ALL, it is all! North, South, East, West, you name it! It would mean so much to me to be able to capture love in the country that gave me my two passions: Hiking and Photography. New Zealand feels like home to me.

I am open to ALL locations in New Zealand.

There are some stunning hikes, single days or multiple days (Milford Track, Abel Tasman, Roy’s Peak, Routeburn Track, Kepler Track etc) that would be perfect for an intimate ceremony. There are also tons of beautiful beaches and forests.

I travelled all of the North Island and the South. Going in random places no one ever heard of to the most famous ones.

Imagine getting married on top of the Routeburn Track, a 3 days Great Walk hike. You can see the Tasman sea from the top on one side and you are surrounded by the mountains everywhere else. You can sleep in a tent or in of the the huts. Big bonus: The Routeburn track is in the middle of a dark sky reserve! Perfect for start watching and night photos.

Iceland Elopements

Northern Light Winter Elopements & Total Solar Eclipse Elopements

Starting at 5200$CAD

If you are looking for an adventure, Iceland has nothing to be ashamed of compared to other places.

It is not called the land of Fire and Ice for nothing!!

Between the majestic glaciers, the northern lights in winter, the blizzard storms, the waterfalls, or even the volcanic eruptions, you can find adventure everywhere.

There will be a total solar eclipse in Iceland in 2026 (August) and if you are looking to elope there during that unique celestial event, send me a message and I will not only capture that day with you for you, but I will also help you plan it out – plan B and C included!

To elope under the Northern Lights in Iceland is to stand at the edge of the world while the sky dances just for you.

On certain winter nights, ribbons of green and violet move across the darkness — wild, unpredictable, unforgettable. There are no crowds. No noise. Just wind, open land, and the two of you wrapped in something bigger than yourselves.

I was lucky enough to witness them every single night during my trip in February 2026 — but like all wild things, they are never guaranteed. That’s part of their magic. We plan intentionally, stay flexible, and let nature lead.

In Iceland, the earth feels raw and alive — black sand beaches, glaciers, lava fields, endless horizons — and above it all, the aurora flickering like a quiet blessing over your vows.

It’s not just an elopement.

It’s a moment written in light. ✨

Patagonia, Torres del Paine Elopements

Starting at 7200$CAD

Anywhere in Patagonia really!!

Torres del Paine, El Chalten/Fitzroy, Perito Moreno, or even Ushuaïa!

Patagonia stole my heart.

Truly the most beautiful place I have been at. I was so lucky to witness V&E vows renewals and get to roam around with them from Torres del Paine to El Chalten.

Torres del Paine kind of reminds me of Banff in a way. Glacier lakes, windy roads, very noticeable peaks.

There is a multi day hike that is very popular called the W circuit (or the O circuit). It brings you right at the bottom of the towers. You do have to book in advance if you want ready camps and if you don’t want to bring your tent.

So what are you waiting for??

Hawaii Elopements

From the beaches to the forests

Starting at 3200$CAD

Hawaii has 7 inhabited islands (Oahu, Maui, Hawaii, Kauai, Molokai, Lanai, Niihau, and Kahoolawe) but in reality, there is 137 islands that form the Hawaii archipel.

Each island offers its specificity. If you want volcanoes or if you want beaches or if you want to see whales, you can find it somewhere in one of the islands.

One of my favourite thing to photograph in Hawaii is anything with water! You can swim with turtles, sometimes even with dolphins! (I do have an add on for underwater that I just started! I am offering it for free for my two first elopements in Hawaii in 2025).

My favourite island? Kauai and its Napali Coast. You can either see the coast by boat or helicopter or you can hike it (it is a dangerous hike and very weather dependant!).

Possible Add-Ons

It is always possible to incorporate more to your elopement day. I have some add-ons that are depending on the locations but if one of them interest you, we can find a location for it!I always make sure to follow regulations and safety measures.
Drone photography – Underwater Photography – Night photography

Drone Photography

I have been flying drones for 10 years now. I started in New Zealand when there was no restrictions and brought it back with me to Canada.

Unfortunately, there are not lots of places in Alberta where you can fly (but I do know some) but depending on the location in the world, it might be possible.

I always make sure that we are allowed to take the drones if you want to add this to your package.

I have two types of drones: Dji mini 4 & Dji Air 2S

Subject to regulations

Underwater Photography
Picture yourselves in the hot waters of Hawaii, surrounded by the turtles or the dolphins.

I recently purchased equipment to take underwater photos and I just LOVE it! Trying it in the swimming pools and in the clear waters of Banff has been a blast. I am ready to take it to the next level and bring it with me to Hawaii or anywhere you would want!

Free in 2026!!

Night Photography

Imagine finishing your day dancing under the stars.

By adding night photography to your package, you can get lots of different results.

In Canada, it could be the northern lights! This is never a given but there are locations where it could happen more often (like in Iceland or Norway).

If the full moon have signification for you, it would also be possible to plan for it!
